Hire Jenna at Buzzshift!

Not to give you the same old spiel, but I’m a pretty big deal.

(yeah, that rhymes)

I’m a creator and a lifelong learner with a quirky sense of humor. One thing I’ve learned as I’ve explored the world of UX/UI Design is the unexpected joy I’d find by creating a captivating product that authentically connects the user to the business.

And I’d love to create with you!

My superpower is endless curiosity.

Curiosity allows us, as designers, to question existing solutions, uncover new opportunities, and maintain a growth mindset.

I began my exploration into UX/UI Design specifically because it seeks to learn more about the user’s experience and gain further understanding of the obstacles in their way. Empathy for the persona and their personal journey is what motivates me. Research, Interviews, Surveys, Usability Testing, and Storytelling are the tools that I use to boost this superpower.

Collaborative.

I thrive in teamwork settings. When I’m bouncing ideas off of others, I am open to improving the product and proceeding forward more quickly and efficiently.

Conversely, I am also an energetic and agile solo worker.

Adaptive.

Whether I’m mid-sprint with a looming deadline, or in between projects, I’m going with the flow and reconfiguring my priorities for efficient time management.

Feel free to mock my monthly planner, IDC.

Productive.

I never say ‘no’ to a project. Even if it’s outside of my comfort zone, I try to take on the challenge as an opportunity to learn something new!

The key is communication and not being afraid to ask the important questions.

I know you’re time is valuable, so I’ve put together a quick visualization of my past work.

Responsive Design

I thought mobile while designing for this local restaurant that had virtually no online presence and gave them a responsive UX for multiple devices.

Device-linked Application

By empathizing with actual users who suffer with asthma and understanding their journey in how they currently manage their symptoms, I was able to take this wearable device and create a linked product to specifically cater to their needs. Whether by maintaining strict daily habits or by surviving with a more blasé approach, this fictional wearable device was created specifically to ease the burden most users have in avoiding asthma triggers.

Adding an App Feature

With the existing Apple Music app, it was my responsibility to find opportunities for a new feature and seamlessly implement it within the app. Through extensive 1-on-1 interviews, heuristic evaluation and usability testing, I was able to integrate three new features within the app without disrupting the existing information architecture.

At Buzzshift, I know I can be that enthusiastic, hungry, innovative addition to your team!

If not for a UX/UI Designer position, then we should still get together to brainstorm on ideas for something truly meaningful and innovative, or just to talk about dogs over coffee.

Think of the possibilities!

Thank you!
